These compact, lightweight one-man post hole borers / augers come with vibration-reducing handles for added operator comfort, and are ideal for use on perfect soil conditions with little to no roots or stones. With a very portable design, the post hole borer can easily be transported to site in the back of a van, and at 9.9kg can be carried to wherever it is required.
A good test to see if your ground is suitable for an auger is to see if you can dig the hole, if you can dig a hole usually an auger will have no issues boring a hole. However if when you are digging your hole you come into contact with large stones or stubborn roots an auger is not the tool for the job as it will get caught on these obsticles.
